About the Founders

Anthony Civitano

Tony (as he likes to be called) has worked at a salon throughout his whole life—from his father’s in West Islip to opening his first cosmetology school in Bay Shore to now having over 4 LIBS schools in 2 different states.

Tony holds a NYSC (New York State Cosmetology) license and is a board director for the American Association of Cosmetology Schools (AACS), Cosmetology Educators Association (CEA), and is an Ex-President and current Director of the New York Beauty School Association (NYSBSA) and the National Cosmetology Association (NCA).
